The parcel is p 1970 unthinned Japanese Larch, Lodgepole Pine and Sitka Spruce. The stands have been unthinned and windblow is present throughout. The stands will produce a high proportion of Biofuel / Chipwood and fencing material. Access for timber stacking and uplift will be in the adjacent Coal yard which has ample, level space for several timber lorries/stacks. The purchaser will be expected to construct a suitable access route into the Coal Yard form the adjacent woodland and to ensure the minor county road is protected from damage during operations, this access will be re-instated on completion of operations. Working conditions in the wood are relatively straightforward and mechanised working will be possible throughout.
